FashionFIX: My Faves in Men's Suits for Fall 2015

Steve Soto READ TIME: 3 MIN.

Hello, readers, and welcome back for your FashionFIX! This week I'll be sharing with you some of my favorite looks in men's suits from the fall 2015 collections.

There really is something very sexy about a man in a great suit! This season there are some interesting trends happening in men's formal wear that bring a little flair to what has been, traditionally, a pretty basic design in menswear.

One of my favorite pieces this season comes from the Junya Watanabe Man Comme des Garons Collection.

Junya Watanabe is a Japanese designer known for his textile manipulation; the suits that feature his patchwork designs are beautiful and definitely stand out as works of art.

My favorite piece from this collection is the White Single Button Sport Coat. The body of the sport coat is constructed using mixed white and off-white textiles in a patchwork technique, and features black satin accents on the shawl collar, chest pocket, two front-flap side pockets and also the buttons.

This piece is also offered in all-black and is equally stunning.

Another line that has interesting pieces this fall is the SONGZIO Collection.

SONGZIO is a company that was started by South Korean businessman turned fashion designer Zio Song.

This collection is predominantly black-on-black textiles, but through the use of prints and textures, the pieces achieve an overall look that really POPS!

My favorite piece from this collection is the Shawl Collared Sport Coat, which features a mock crocodile texture; on the runway it was paired with a slim-fitted pant which also features the mock crocodile texture in two black tones, which add another dimension of appeal for this ensemble.

Together it creates a really interesting suit that is sure to get you noticed, wherever you wear it, for all the right reasons!

This design is also offered in a length top coat which is just as chic.

The last pieces I'd like to share with you come from the mega design house known as Dolce & Gabbana.

There are a few pieces that really make me happy here, the first being this Black and Gold Floral Sport Coat with a Black Velvet Shawl Collar. On the Runway this piece was paired with a double breasted black vest and a black Henley shirt underneath with a pair of skinny fit trousers, but I can see this piece dressed up with a pair of Tuxedo pants or dressed down with a pair of dark denim jeans.

The next piece from this collection that I love is a Charcoal Grey Wool Sport Coat, which also has a velvet shawl collar and features a crown and bee appliqu on the chest pocket as well as some appliqus on the sleeve hem. This piece can be dressed up or down and is perfect for any occasion - be it the board room or a dinner party.

Dolce and Gabbana is really going for it with the florals this season, and even offers a three-piece suit in a black and charcoal-colored Jacquard floral textile.

This is a single-breasted two-button suit that is definitely better suited for a social event over a business affair, but it is GORGEOUS!

Finally, the last look from this collection that really tickles my fancy is this beautiful three-piece suit which still features the Jacquard floral textile but definitely in a more toned-down manner.

This is a single-breasted two-button jacket with a notched collar. This jacket has velvet accents on the center front and chest pocket, the vest is double breasted, and the trouser is a modern slim fit.

This suit is absolutely beautiful and is the epitome of a "Power Suit": Strong, sexy, and POWERFUL!

Okay, fashionistas, that's it for me this week. I hope you enjoyed the read and hope you're looking forward to our next time together!

Don't be afraid to try something new when it comes to fashion; after all, if it doesn't work, all you have to do is take it off!
