Watch: Thirst-Trapping OnlyFans Stars Rick & Griff Give Middle Finger to Streaming Service with Hilarious Vid
Social media influencers and adult content providers Rick and Griff Twombley-King struck out at OnlyFans for their now-rescinded decision to ban adult content with a funny parody video.
Earlier this year EDGE wrote about the married couple, social media influencers and content creators who make their living providing X-rated pictures and videos to hundreds of followers on OnlyFans and JustForFans.
On August 19 the OnlyFans announced that they were going to discontinue streaming sexually explicit content due to concerns by investors. The outcry against the decision was so pronounced that the company reversed it a week later, CNN reported. "We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change," the company said in a tweet. "OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators."
While OnlyFans has changed their minds, there remains the possibility that they could reverse it again, which would leave content creators like Rick and Griff without a revenue source.
The couple decided to speak out against the initial decision with a YouTube parody that features the famous scene from "Sex and the City" when the jilted Carrie Bradshaw confronts Mr. Big after she's jilted. In the video, Mr. Big is seen as OnlyFans and the angry Carrie as OnlyFans contributors.
Speaking of the video, Rick and Griff wrote: "The meme is a metaphor for putting your faith into a toxic relationship, knowing in the back of your mind that you're probably going to end up heartbroken and humiliated in public with a giant blue bird pinned to your head and then after defending your partner endlessly to your friends for years, your partner does exactly what you always worried they would do and your friends are left to pickup the pieces."
