Malin+Goetz Announces Plans for Pride
Getting a jump start on pride month, Malin+Goetz has just announced a "Pucker up for Pride" campaign, ensuring that everyone's lips are super nourished and hydrated for pride weekend. What's more, they've also just announced that they'll be making a big donation to The Trevor Project in honor of the 1969 Stonewall anniversary.
On June 24, the brand invites everyone to pucker up for pride and show someone you love them. They'll be handing out thousands of their cult-favorite lip balms in front of select Malin+Goetz stores throughout NYC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco inviting the community to show their support while keeping their lips extra smooth should the moment strike. And I can tell you from years and years of slathering on their famous lip balm, that stuff is pure gold.
On June 28—both in person and online—the brand will be donating 50% of all sales to the Trevor Project, which means that there's no better time to stock up on your favorite Malin+Goetz products.
Founded 18 years ago in Chelsea, NY by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz—partners in both life and in business—Malin+Goetz was created with the mission to be a brand that could be used by anyone regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
Equality + diversity has been embedded into the DNA of Malin+Goetz from the start and they have been active advocates for equality from day one. The brand prides themselves on being designed for all genders, all skin types, and all skin tones. Just as skin is skin, they believe that love is love.
"When I reflect back on my life in my teens and early twenties," said Andrew Goetz, "I am in utter awe at the prodigious strides our community and society at large has made. What seemed impossible at the time, and inevitable today — is nothing less than miraculous. It is indeed a time to celebrate, but also to know that our work is not nearly done. It is with enormous pride that Matthew and I joyfully revel, and earnestly fight for equality, and dignity for the LGBTQ+ community at home and abroad."
This June, they're advancing their efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community not only to honor the Stonewall uprising of 1969, but also to raise awareness about equal justice for all. You'll be able to pick up your free, specially designed lip balm on June 24 outside of Nomad, Chelsea, and Williamsburg stores in New York City, the Larchmont store in Los Angeles, and the Hayes Valley store in San Francisco.
But remember, regardless of where you live, 50% of all sales from June 28 will go directly to The Trevor Project, so head on over to Malin+Goetz.com for some self-care you can feel good about.
