Netflix is sharing the new trailer for the sports drama "High Flying Bird," written by out playwright and "Moonlight" scribe Tarell Alvin McCraney, and directed by Steven Soderbergh.

The film stars "Moonlight" star André Holland along with Zazie Beetz ("Atlanta"), Melvin Gregg ("American Vandal"), Sonja Sohn ("The Wire"), Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek"), Kyle MacLachlan ("Twin Peaks") and Bill Duke ("Predator"). "High Flying Bird" also features appearances from NBA stars Reggie Jackson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Donovan Mitchell.

According to Netflix, the film is about sports agent Ray Burke (Holland) who is "in the midst of a pro basketball lockout" and finds himself "caught in the face-off between the league and the players. His career is on the line, but Ray is playing for higher stakes. With only 72 hours to pull off a daring plan, he outmaneuvers all the power-players as he uncovers a loophole that could change the game forever. The outcome raises questions of who owns the game — and who ought to."

Barry Jenkins' "Moonlight," which won Best Picture at the 2017 Oscars, was based off McCraney's play "In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue." McCraney received an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

"High Flying Bird" hits Netflix on Feb. 8. Check out the trailer below.
